Where vision becomes Reality

Carson “the kid”

My name is Carson Kennedy. I’ve been tattooing for almost 8 years now including my apprenticeship. I started tattooing as an apprentice, with no prior expierence.

When I was young I used to think that to make a living in the art world you had to sell painting after painting, sell out art galleries, and work countless hours on producing paintings that I couldn’t do. Later in high school I used to make tattoo drawings and sketches for friends and their family members to afford lunch money. That’s when I discovered tattooing was the most fascinating (and most relevant) form of art that seemed possible for me.

After graduating High School, working warehouse jobs, that’s when it hit me. I realized that if you put any effort into something your bound to get that result based on your efforts. So after two years of no sleep, no rest, and hours of non-stop effort through my tattoo apprenticeship. I became a tattoo artist, and this website is my way of sharing my dream with everyone and to go and do tattoos like never before.

Koa creative studios

Koa Creative Studios is a website and a business were ideas can grow and art can reach new levels of creativity. It’s my business I created from the inspiration of my parents (they're the reason I'm here and following my dreams). It's all do to their sacrifices and hard work that has made me into the artist I am today! My goal of my business is to never stop growing as an artist as well as meeting new clients and to bring their visions to life.

the goal

Koa Creative Studios is my interactive portfolio and business to show the vision of my world of art through tattoos, paintings, and even creativity. My goal for this business is to travel, experience new places and clients, as well as to discover new inspirations and create my best art.

my style

realism

realism is my favorite style to work in because of the overall outcome of the tattoo. It’s definitely one of the most stressful tattoos out there but I cant stop loving it. Getting everything from the detail, the colors, and overall look of something looking real on the skin. There’s nothing else like it! And of course I work in black and white.

Lettering

I started to learn how to draw and work with my own style back in my apprenticeship. One of the artists who worked there did his own style of lettering that was clean and unique. He showed me the details from building the banner frame all the way to the flourishes that made the letters truly stand out! Now I’ve worked with so many range of styles and looks of lettering. Including my logo i did for Koa Creative.
